SPECIALIZED BIG HIT FSR Medium 2009 *Custom* Mountain

Up for sale is my medium Specialized Big Hit due to wanting to get a bike with more travel. It is an awesome freeride bike that takes everything you throw at it! I have used it for all disciplines and it can be a very capable bike. I have looked after the bike and it has served me well for the past couple years, and the frame is in good condition besides some paint chips and scratches (No cracks). It has just had a new bearing kit fitted all round so it is nice and tight. I have new grips to go on it and have recently replaced the chain device guides and brake pads. It has Rock Shox Totem RC2DH 2010 forks which I bought a couple months ago and have been serviced by TF tuned with the previous owner. It is the best single crown fork I have had and they are incredibly plush right the way through their travel. They have rebound, compression adjusts and come with preload spacers and two extra springs to suit rider weight. The rear shock is a Marzocchi Roco World Cup which was a top of the line in 2012. It is very smooth and can be adjusted via rebound, compression and air. It comes with a 350lb and a 400lb spring to suit rider weight. Other specs; Front wheel: superstar DH-595 rim on tesla hub Rear wheel: superstar DH-595 rim on trizoid hub Handlebars: azonic world force 760mm with FSA stem brakes: shimano deore M-615 hydraulic 203 & 180 rotors *NEW PADS* Pedals: superstar nano tech Chainset: shimano slx , deore shifter Chainguide: superstar plasma, *NEW* guides Front tire: maxxis minion 3C 2.5 2ply Rear tire: maxxis high roller 3C 2.5 2ply *Bike comes with FSA stem as current one is a team stem. Pedals will be different to photo* There is a slight knock coming from the shock eyelet bushings or bolt, it doesn’t affect performance and it isn’t noticeable on the trail. It wouldn’t cost much to fix it but I have never felt it was too bad to need changing. Everything works flawlessly and it would be ideal for a rider looking for a do it all freeride/downhill bike that can be taken to a trail centre for a blast if you don’t mind the extra weight on the climbs. The rear wheel has a few dings and a couple small cracks. I have ridden it like this for a while and they have not spread and it doesn't affect the bike. Thanks for looking! Prefer collection from either Aviemore area or possibly Edinburgh area. Can UK post at an extra cost.
